DESCRIPTION: Progressive county government west of Portland seeks proven professional with strong management skills in road and traffic maintenance programs to head major function within large operating department. Superintendent reports through the Operations and Maintenance Division Manager to the Land Use and Transportation Department Director. Administers an annual work plan and combined operating/capital budget of $10 million. Directs and manages a total workforce of eighty employees responsible for road surface, landscape, bridge, traffic signal and signs, and street lighting maintenance and vegetation control.
