AGENCY: Wake County, NC
COMPENSATION: $40,943 - $54,590 (salary commensurate with experience). Wake County also provides a 401(k) supplemental retirement plan for regular and probationary employees. Wake County pays 5% of an employee's gross monthly salary into the employee's account. These contributions become the employee's upon retirement or separation from employment.

DESCRIPTION: Job #093/98 (#2062-1004-0); Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and 5 years of systems analysis and hardware/software evaluation experience; or equivalent. Preferred: Strong contract and project management skills. Familiarity with Lotus Notes applications, MS Office and Internet. Duties: Serve as the Information Technology Business Partner for assigned county department or function. Operate as an advisor to the department head or business manager and assist in the development and implementation of technology plans designed to meet the business outcomes and goals. Provide support for all county standard office automation products as well as any specialized business application software used by assigned department. Assist in problem determination and resolution, monitor overall equipment and system performance to assure a high level of customer satisfaction with the central and departmental data structures.
