DESCRIPTION: Key position responsible for the development, management and enhancement of budgetary and financial models; performing financial analysis; and providing budgetary support in a fast paced, innovative municipal environment. Work will include the simulation of �what if� scenarios and complex special projects involving tax and rate sufficiency. Technical expert with strong accounting, financial modeling, analytical, interpersonal and business skills a must. Ability to work well independently and function well as a part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed. Minimum of three years significant financial modeling, analysis, revenue and expenditure forecasting, experience dealing with rate and fee structures preferred. Requires a Bachelor�s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or other related field. CPA or MBA a plus. Excellent MS Excel spreadsheet skills, working knowledge of MS Word, Access, and statistical software packages (SAS) expected.
