AGENCY: Nye County (Tonopah), Nevada

COMPENSATION: $47,444.80 - $61,713.60 (3% increase effective 7-1-2000), plus excellent benefit package. No state income tax. County paid PERS Retirement Plan. DESCRIPTION: This position in the Public Works Department is located in Pahrump, Nevada - 60 miles west of Las Vegas Nevada. Under the direction of the Public Works Director, the Engineer works as a professional qualified engineer with considerable latitude for independent action. Responsible for scheduling and supervising projects, materials and personnel. Requires 4-6 years Engineering/Supervisory experience. Registered as a Nevada Civil Engineer, or ability to obtain license within 6-12 months of hire date.
