DESCRIPTION: Under regular supervision, monitors and operates water plant machinery and equipment to provide efficient and safe provision of water to City residents. Makes adjustments and assists in making repairs to equipment as required. Reports to Water Plant Superintendent. Requires high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of experience operating equipment in a water treatment plant, or equivalent combination of training end experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess a valid state driver's license and Public Drinking Water Plant Operator "C" license by the State of Florida. Experience entering data into a computer is preferable.
