DESCRIPTION: Putnam County, Florida seeks a highly responsible administrative and technical manager to oversee activities of building and grounds maintenance and engineering functions including the design, construction and maintenance of roads and water/wastewater systems for the County. This is a newly created position. The department has 75 employees and a budget of $8 million. This community with a population of 70,000 is located in Northeast Florida on the beautiful St. Johns River.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, seven years experience in public works design, maintenance and construction or equivalent combination, an Engineer Intern certification or a PE and a valid Driver License. Florida Driver License must be obtained within thirty days of employment. Putnam County residency will be required within six months of hire.
