DESCRIPTION: Located on the Colorado River, this fast growing community is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Finance Director. Under general direction of the City Manager, serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the City. Performs a variety of complex managerial and professional functions related to the City�s overall financial management; develops policy, procedures and systems which assist other staff in maintaining City records related to finance. This is a contract position. Minimum qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor�s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Public Administration. Five (5) years prior experience in municipal financial management and must include experience in fund accounting. A CPA and/or Master�s Degree in a related field is desirable.
