DESCRIPTION: The Long Beach Police Department is now accepting Lateral Level Police Officer Resumes. Minimum qualifications: Applicant must be currently employed as a full time employee of a public law enforcement agency and have two years of continuous full time service. Applicant must have satisfactorily completed the Law Enforcement Academy of the State in which they are employed, and if other than the state of Washington Academy, the applicant must pass the Washington State Equivalency Examination also. Applicant must be a citizen of the United States, 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicant must either have a Washington State Driver's License or be able to obtain one.
