POSITION: Job #059/98 - UTILITY WORKER (HVAC)

COMPENSATION: $16,300 - $21,733 (salary commensurate with experience)

DESCRIPTION: (GSA/Physical Plant - #3050-1040-0). Minimum qualifications: High school graduation, supplemented by courses in an applicable trade; or equivalent. Valid NC driver's license and "safe driving record" required. Preferred: At least 1 year but preferably 2 years of experience in a commercial type setting. Ability to lift 100 pounds and pass security background check; Universal CFC recovering certification or ability to obtain within 6 months. Duties: Assist Journeyman HVAC mechanics while installing, maintaining and repairing HVAC Systems. Change filters and belts, assist with CFC recovery, troubleshoot and maintain tools, service equipment and keep vehicle supplies stocked for upcoming projects. Must be a team player. Note: A physical exam may be required.
