DESCRIPTION: Tioqa County seeks an experienced, capable administrator to coordinate functions of its various departments and agencies. Reporting directly to the County Legislature, the County Manager functions as Chief Administrative Officer. Tioga County, a region of rolling hills, farmland, rivers and lakes, offers a pleasant lifestyle with very reasonable cost of living. Government offices are based in the historic and charming village of Owegok, on the banks of the Susquehanna River.
QUALIFICATIONS: A record of successful management within a public, business or industrial enterprise. A Bachelor�s degree and several years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience. A consensus builder able to integrate diverse input into a cohesive structure for action. Experience in budgeting and fiscal controls, staff building, and managing people. An advanced degree in Business or Public Administration is a plus.
