DESCRIPTION: The DuPage County Health Department seeks a Director of Community Health Services to oversee 22 major programs serving a population serving a population of nearly 900,000 people with a budget of over $10 million and 226 FTE. The director oversees a multi-disciplinary staff of public health nurses, dental health professionals, physicians, health educators, etc. The unit works closely with the Department's Environmental Health and Behavioral & Mental Health services on numerous intra-departmental projects. Master's Degree in public health administration or a health-related field and five years of progressively responsible experience including three years in a supervisory or administrative capacity required.
