DESCRIPTION: Population 21,000. Located on the western shores of Lake Michigan just north of Milwaukee, the City of Mequon has an immediate need for a Director of Information Services to be the architect of our information services system. This newly created position requires leadership skills, business acumen, and both hands on and systems consulting experience.
Requires experience with an AS400 operating system, Novell and NT LANs and WANs, and proven experience in planning, organizing, and directing the management of information systems. Should have experience with Novell NetWare, Windows 95/NT, and Microsoft Office 97. Skills in staff supervision, training, and customer support along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Certified Network Administrator and/or website development experience a plus.
