DESCRIPTION: There are currently five openings. Under general supervision, this position provides leadership for community based recreational programs and activities; assists in the management of a facility or city-wide program. Develops, coordinates and leads recreational and sports activities which may include specialized programs and special events. May assign, schedule and direct the work of part-time staff and volunteers. Graduation from college with a Bachelor's degree in recreation or a related field. One year paid or volunteer experience in one or more areas of recreation programming or a related field. Up to a total of five years paid experience may be granted.
