Minimum qualifications: Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant program approved by the NC Joint Subcommittee of the Board of Nursing and Board of Medical Examiners. A valid NC driver's license and "safe driving record" required. Preferred: 1-2 years experience in outpatient prenatal; child and adult health; and bilingual (Spanish). Duties: Provide direct patient care for children and adults, which includes acute and preventive care, prenatal care, and family planning. Provide direct supervision of clinic nursing staff and clinic operations. Duties: Provide primary care for infants and children from birth to 21 years of age in a clinical setting. Duties include but are not limited to assessment, diagnosis and treatment of childhood illnesses and injuries; offer anticipatory guidance on a variety of subjects; follow high-risk/chronic patients closely; and promote wellness.
