DESCRIPTION: The City of Union Gap, Washington is accepting applications for the position of Finance Director.  Associates degree from an accredited college or university in financial management, accounting, business, or public administration required; Bachelor�s degree or Master�s degree in accounting, business, public administration or related field preferred.  Five years of progressively responsible management level experience in public sector accounting, preferably municipal government accounting.  Two years of experience in computerized accounting and financial software.  Experience should include governmental budgeting, auditing, financial reporting, purchasing, billing, revenue collection and investment management.  and must have a valid State Driver's License.
