DESCRIPTION:
The City of Rifle is seeking a dynamic professional with substantial
governmental accounting experience to serve as Finance Director. This position
serves as Chief Accounting Officer, manages a staff of five, and is responsible
for all budgeting and finance management for a City with a budget of $21
million. Requires a Bachelor�s degree in Accounting or a closely related field
and minimum of five years of professional supervisory or management experience
in accounting or finance. Working knowledge of GAAFR, GAAP, and GASB is also
required.
