DESCRIPTION: Supervises
Street & Drainage project manager (who supervises engineering inspectors) and
CIP project manager. Primary engineering focus is land development review of
public infrastructure (water, sewer, street, drainage) and implementing public
works Capital Improvement Projects. Organizes and manages projects dealing with
water, sewer, street, drainage infrastructures. Meets with city employees,
federal, state and county representatives to plan and budget projects; ensure
compliance with all applicable rules, regulations and ordinances; and respond to
citizen requests. Attend public meetings as needed. Reviews subdivision
applications.
Qualifications: A Bachelor�s degree in Engineering is required. Applicants must
have five years of professional engineering experience (as P.E.) and must be a
Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. Requires thorough
knowledge of municipal engineering and related public infrastructure project
implementation. Two years experience in street, drainage design and land
development activities preferred. Engineering computer modeling experience
preferred.
