DESCRIPTION: The
successful incumbent will serve as an IT specialist, responsible for
development, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP ECC 5.0 business applications
and related interfaces. This position is accountable for key aspects of the
software development lifecycle within the SAP environment and related systems.
Responsibilities include: Working closely with business analysts, users and
other developers to build and maintain deliverables such as forms, reports,
interfaces, conversions, and enhancements. Working from specifications, the
developer will design and code ABAP programs to meet the requirements.
Initially development will be focused on the Financials, Sales and Distribution,
and Flexible Real Estate modules within SAP. Development may expand into other
areas in the future.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: Two years development
experience; Experience with program design, testing, trouble-shooting, support
and maintenance, performance tuning, roblem solving, debugging, gathering and
writing technical specifications; Strong technical troubleshooting and analytic
skills; Strong written and oral communication skills; Strong organizational
skills and ability to handle multiple tasks often with interruptions; Excellent
interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in diverse teams to achieve
organizational and project goals; Must be at least 18 years of age at time of
hire. DESIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will also have: A
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related
discipline; Two years experience in ABAP/4 report programming; Experience with
SAP enhancements, BAPI /Function Module interfaces, BADI’s, SAPScript and
SmartForms; Advanced knowledge of SAP's Development Workbench; Knowledge of SQL,
C#, and .Net;
