COMPENSATION: TO APPLY: LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Valid Class D driver’s license is required; MSCE 2003 certification required, or must be obtained within 90 days of employment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of: Extensive knowledge of MS Windows Server 2003, 2005, MS Exchange, Active Directory; general knowledge of MS IIS, web hosting, firewalls, load balancing, clustering/replication, and SQL Server; basic networking in a CISCO environment; scripting languages to automate and support local and remote system administration functions; Standard windows batch shell scripting, VBScript, and WMI; Tivoli software; MS Visual Basic; .NET frameworks; virtualization, storage area networks; ISCSI and fiber channel. Knowledge of and experience with Citrix, Crystal Enterprise Server, and VOIP not required, but preferred. Ability to: Lead projects, prioritize tasks, meet project schedule requirements; remain current with advancing industry technology; work effectively with users, technical personnel and consultants to achieve stated objectives; conduct research, prepare reports and recommendations; establish and maintain effective working relations with co-workers and customers; communicate effectively verbally and in writing; exercise initiative and independent judgment within established procedural guidelines; demonstrated problem solving ability; responding effectively to customer service requests; learn new skills quickly. Skills in: Backup and disaster recovery strategies; time management; analyzing, identifying and implementing solutions to technical problems; analyzing equipment and system malfunctions and determining effective solutions; responding effectively to customer service requests; assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands; interpreting technical instructions and analyzing complex variables; using initiative and independent judgment within established procedural guidelines; oral and written communication. ENVIRONMENT FACTOR: Work is performed in a standard office environment. PHYSICAL FACTORS: Light physical demands. Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds; frequent use of a personal computer. WORK SITUATION FACTORS: Position involves competing demands, performing multiple tasks, working to deadlines, occasional work beyond normal business hours, and responding to customer issues.
