DESCRIPTION: The
City of Gaithersburg is seeking applicants for the position of Information
Systems Manager -- Operations/Network, to direct the group that provides support
and direction for all network and desktop infrastructure including servers,
hardware, email, firewall, and telephones. Hands-on experience providing daily
operational support and managing network implementation projects is required.
Assuming lead on second and third level help desk tasks is also required.
Experience with Novell, Microsoft, and Linux technologies in a multi-site
environment preferred. Experience with RAID and NAS/SAN technologies
preferred.
