COMPENSATION: The annual salary for this position is up to $108,000 depending upon candidate qualifications and experience, plus an annual automobile allowance of $6,840.

DESCRIPTION: Yolo County, population 180,000, is located in Northern California, 20 miles northwest of the City of Sacramento.  The County is seeking an experienced human resources professional to fill its newly created position of Director of Human Resources.  Reporting directly to the County Administrator, the director serves 1,350 County employees and leads all HR functions including Labor Relations.

A minimum of four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience involving all aspects of a comprehensive human resources program is required. Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Personnel Administration, Organizational Development, Public or Business Administration, Political Science, Social Science or closely related field is also required.
