Salary Range: $37,224.00 - $56,109.00

DESCRIPTION: Providing comprehensive Human Resources services or may provide professional duties in one or more of the functional areas of responsibility including the performs Human Resources duties at the professional level as a part of a team retirement program, employee relations, compensation and classification studies, salary surveys, performance management issues, employee relations or other such areas. Work is performed under direct supervision initially and as procedures and processes are learned supervision becomes general.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field. 1-2 years experience in Professional Administrative Human Resources work in the designated Human Resources program or as a Human Resources Generalist; or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Individuals selected for conditional offers of employment must pass the City of Durham physical examination including drug and alcohol testing.
