DESCRIPTION: The City Clerk serves as administrative support to the Mayor and City Council.  Work involves responsibility for the coordination of the Mayor and City Council’s activities and records.  This position has specific responsibilities for preparing the City Council meeting agenda and packet information, coordinating with the City Manager and other administrative staff, the preparation of recommendations, resolutions and ordinances, distribution of materials, issuing business permits and licenses, and maintaining and updating the City’s Municipal Codes.
